WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?
The type of data we collect about you includes:
Identity Data including your first name, last name and business name.
Contact Data including your billing address, email address and telephone numbers.
Financial Data including bank account and payment card details. Brand Me does not store any financial data.
Transactional Data including details about payments for products or services you have purchased or engaged with through us.
Technical Data including internet protocol (IP) address, your login data, browser type, operation system and platform, as well as your journey through our digital platform (such as the links you click on and searches you make), which videos you have watched, what content you like and share, which push messages you respond to and information collected in any forms you complete. We may also analyse which marketing activity led to your taking specific action on our digital platforms.
Profile Data includes any username and password, purchases or orders, feedback and survey responses.
Usage Data including information about how you use the Site, products and services.
Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and any third parties and your communication preferences.
We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature.

ii. Attend one of our events;
iii. Request marketing be sent to you;

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We use the data we collect from you to provide you with our services. We may also use your contact details to communicate with you.
We use your data to register you as a member of Brand Me and manage our relationship with you. This includes managing all bookings, orders, reservations and to provide you with relevant information about Brand Me.
Where we use a third-party provider, for example to manage event bookings, they will only use your information to fulfil your booking.
We will only share your information with selected third parties where you have consented to receive their material e.g. specific marketing about relevant events.
We will also use your data to protect our business. This includes the prevention of any crime, to manage risk for us and users of the site and to ensure we adhere to relevant laws and regulations applicable to Brand Me.
WHO DO WE SHARE YOUR DATA WITH?
We will get your express consent before we share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
All financial data is held by Stripe according to their policies and applicable data protection laws. Brand Me does not retain this information.
You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing message by following the opt-out links on any marketing messages sent to you. You can also contact us at any time on firstname.lastname@example.org to ask us to modify your preferences.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA FOR?
We will keep your data for as long as you are an active member.
If you decide to cease your membership, we will anonymise your data after three months. This means it can no longer be associated with you. Anonymised data is kept indefinitely for research or statistical purposes.
If you wish to anonymise your data at any time from the point of cessation of your membership and before the 3 months has passed, you can contact us at email@example.com to request this be done.
We will keep your personal data if there are any legal requirements or if there is an open dispute.
You can re-join Brand Me at any time, subject to our Terms and Conditions.
WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?
Right to access: You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you at any time. Contact Brand Me to receive your personal data via email.
Right to portability: Whenever Brand Me processes your personal data by automated means based on an agreement you have the right to get a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format transferred to you or another party. This only includes the personal data you have submitted to us. Please contact us if you want this information.
Right to rectification: You have the right to request rectification of your personal data if it is incorrect, including the right to have incomplete data completed.
Right to erasure: You have the right to erase any personal data processed by Brand Me at any time, except for the following situations:
– You are suspected of misuse of, or have misused our services within the past four years;
– Where the information is needed in exercised or defence of legal claims;
– Where the information is required to comply with any legal obligations; and
– Any other application exemption under Article 17(3) of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
Your right to object to processing based on legitimate interests: You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data that is based on Brand Me’s legitimate interests. Brand Me will not continue to process your personal data unless we can demonstrate a legitimate basis for the process which overrides your interests and rights or due to legal claims.
