Tuesday November 26th, Social Media Workshop at Artists Residence Pimlico
Open to members and non-members this amazing workshop with Avocado Social will answer all your social media questions.
A three-hour social media workshop at The Artists Residence, Pimlico from 10am-1pm. The workshop will be aimed at helping ambitious female founders to efficiently market their businesses through social media.
Prior to the session we will provide you with a short questionnaire to complete. We will also carry out a brief audit of how you are currently using social media so that we can tailor advice and provide inspirational examples of best practice throughout.
The workshop will focus mainly on Facebook and Instagram, incorporating crucial elements of Twitter and LinkedIn where appropriate.
During the three-hour session we will cover the following essential topics:
Social media in 2019: The latest “need-to-know” trends in social media including how the algorithms work, what type of content plays best in each platform, and key considerations for smartphone friendly content in 2019.
How to approach a social media strategy: We will demonstrate how to put together a social media strategy for each platform including setting key social media objectives, how to target desired audiences and how to use a platform specific approach.
Content strategy: We will demonstrate examples of how social media can creatively be utilised for engaging, promoting and delivering key messages. We will explore the differences between organic and paid content approaches and where they can be utilised to the greatest affect.
How to manage social media effectively: How to manage a social media account effectively with limited time and how to utilise scheduling tools available. This includes demonstrations of tools such as Buffer, Hootsuite, Planoly and Sprout Social.
Social media advertising: The methodology behind social media advertising; including objectives and audience targeting. We will demonstrate successful examples of social media adverts on Facebook and Instagram, discuss budget and bidding options and explore how to create adverts that convert.
Measurement Best practise social media measurement tools and best practice reporting including how to prove ROI on your organic and paid social media campaigns. We will discuss how to find the metrics which represent the greatest value.

Join us for an inspirational evening of panel discussions at the newly opened Wild By Tart in Eccleston Place on 6th March 2019.
Wild By Tart is co-owned by Lucy Carr-Ellison and Jemima Jones of Tart London. Although not officially open until the Spring, Wild By Tart has already hosted some amazing events in their beautiful space.
